IMPORTANT

Hard drives are not included with the R_volution NAS Ultra. The system supports up to eight 3.5-inch SATA hard drives. Storage capacity depends on the number and capacity of installed drives and the selected RAID configuration.

The R_volution NAS Ultra must be paired with a compatible R_volution media player for playback on each TV or projector.

The R_volution NAS Ultra is a high-end 8-bay Network Attached Storage and autorip video server designed for premium home theater and multiroom entertainment systems. It allows users to automatically back up DVD, Blu-ray, Blu-ray 3D and 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray discs in bit-perfect, uncompressed quality and store them on internal hard drives.

The R_volution NAS Ultra features eight hot-swappable 3.5-inch SATA drive bays and supports hardware-based RAID configurations including RAID 0, RAID 1, RAID 5 and JBOD. With up to eight 32 TB hard drives, it can provide storage capacity equivalent to up to 3,200 4K UHD Blu-rays, 6,400 Blu-rays or 38,400 DVDs. Multiple NAS Ultra units can also be combined for larger media collections.

The built-in optical drive provides automated disc ripping. Users can simply insert a DVD, Blu-ray or 4K UHD Blu-ray disc and the NAS Ultra automatically backs up the content to its internal storage. Up to two additional external optical drives can be connected via USB, allowing up to three discs to be backed up simultaneously.

The R_volution NAS Ultra stores movies and TV shows in their original, uncompressed quality, supporting 4K UHD, HDR, BT.2020, HEVC, Dolby TrueHD, Dolby Atmos, DTS-HD Master Audio and DTS:X. The integrated R_video Media Center automatically organizes the media library with movie covers, metadata, cast information, directors, genres and ratings.

The NAS Ultra supports multiroom video streaming to up to four zones simultaneously, allowing different rooms to play different movies or TV shows at the same time. Its 2.5 GbE network interface provides faster network performance compared with the standard R_volution NAS.

For music lovers, the NAS Ultra also supports multiroom audio and Roon Server, allowing music collections to be accessed throughout the home using compatible R_volution players, Sonos, Bluesound and Roon-enabled devices.

With servo-controlled fans, 50% more power than the standard NAS and a quieter operating design, the R_volution NAS Ultra is designed for demanding home cinema enthusiasts, large media libraries and professional custom AV installations.
