IMPORTANT

Hard drives are not included with the R_volution NAS Storage Ultra. The system supports eight 3.5-inch SATA hard drives. Storage capacity depends on the number and capacity of installed drives and the selected RAID configuration.

Each TV or display requires a compatible R_volution Media Player for playback. The NAS Storage Ultra acts as the central storage and media server for the connected R_volution players.

The R_volution NAS Storage Ultra is a high-performance 8-bay Network Attached Storage system designed to securely store and stream large music and video libraries throughout the home. It provides a scalable storage solution with hardware-based RAID protection, high-speed 2.5 GbE networking and multiroom audio and video capabilities.

The NAS Storage Ultra features eight hot-swappable 3.5-inch SATA drive bays and supports RAID 0, RAID 1, RAID 5 and JBOD configurations. Its hardware-based RAID 5 system provides protection against a single drive failure while maintaining access to stored content. The system can automatically rebuild data onto a hot-swappable spare drive without interrupting playback.

Designed for large media collections, the R_volution NAS Storage Ultra can store up to 192,000 music tracks, 19,200 SD videos, 3,200 HD movies or 2,000 4K Ultra HD titles, depending on the installed storage capacity and content size.

For high-end home theater applications, the NAS Storage Ultra supports uncompressed 4K and 8K Ultra HD content with 12-bit color, HDR10+, Dolby Vision, BT.2020 and HEVC. It also supports premium audio formats including AC-4, Dolby TrueHD, Dolby Atmos, DTS-HD Master Audio and DTS:X.

The integrated R_video Media Center automatically organizes movies and TV shows with posters, backdrops, synopses, cast information, technical details, genres, ratings and other metadata. Users can browse, categorize, filter, sort, edit and manage their media library through compatible R_volution media players.

The NAS Storage Ultra supports simultaneous UHD streaming to up to four zones, allowing different movies or TV shows to be played independently in multiple rooms. Each display requires a compatible R_volution media player.

For music enthusiasts, the NAS Storage Ultra supports high-resolution and lossless formats including DSD, WAVE, AIFF, FLAC and ALAC. It also provides multiroom audio integration with systems such as Sonos, Bluesound and Roon. An integrated Roon Server provides centralized access to music libraries through compatible devices.
